Wesley, Goodwin propel Notre Dame past CS Northridge 68-52

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) Freshman Blake Wesley came off the bench to rating 21 details in his initially collegiate game and Dane Goodwin scored 18 – all on three-ideas – as Notre Dame opened its year with a 68-fifty two victory above Cal Point out Northridge on Saturday.

Wesley, a South Bend native, sank seven of ten photographs from the flooring – which include four of 6 from further than the three-issue line – in 24 minutes. Goodwin missed his two 2-issue tries but nailed 6 of 8 from length. The rest of the Preventing Irish strike just one of 13 from deep. Notre Dame shot forty nine% from the flooring and 41% from length. The Irish took a five-four direct one:53 into the game on a Goodwin three-pointer and by no means trailed once again. They led 32-26 at halftime and upped their direct to 57-37 on a Wesley dunk with 6:fifty nine still left in the game.
